Rattlefish 2012 UK Tour
Hi Fish & Laggy Fans
Dates are going quickly now and the diary is filling fast so any venues or clients wanting gigs for 2012 drop us a line asap. Don't forget Rattlefish are also available unplugged and also as their alter-ego's The Laggy Band. The Laggy Band play hi-energy mashed indie, pop, folk and country on guitars, drums, banjo's and Dunc' behemoth of a double bass. There is nothing else like it on the circuit. Book now!!!!
See you at a gig soon.
Cheers

The Ferry Inn, Brough
Please note that all our gigs (and all other bands, open mic nights and jazz nights) have been cancelled at The Ferry.

Who are The Laggy Band?
The rumour has it that The Laggy Band are actually Rattlefish donning acoustical instruments for musical edification. From Cash to Killers, Dylan to D'Smiths this is a musical rollercoaster. Some familiar indie tunes mixed up wood n steel style. Acoustified, Banjofied but not quite crucified. It’s fun, reckless and slightly dangerous...
Check out the gig diary for The Laggy Band dates. You will often find us down North Cave way hanging out at the White Hart. See you there...

New Rattlefish Promo Video on YouTube
Hi Fish fans
Check out the new Rattlefish Happy Hour Video below.
Let us know what you think.

The New Videos
Rattlefish live at the Cock and bell, Preston. There will be more to follow.

Fishy filmings of cocks and bells
What a stomper of a night at the Cock and Bell. Thanks to Cheryl, the staff, the locals and all the crazy lasses on a pub crawl from Withernsea (and back). We shot some more footage for our soon to be released promotional video. We head to a local studio to film the final shots next week so keep checking back at this web-site. If you've been in any of our audiences recently you might spot yourself.
The CD is now for sale.Rattlefish: Glamorous Indie Rock & Rollmops. It is very reasonably priced at £5 at gigs and £6.00 by post and has 9 stompin' fish tracks on. You can pay by paypal to latham@latham.karoo.co.uk or send a cheque to Rattlefish, 5 Alder Close, Brough. Contact us via email (see the link opposite) & don't forget to tell us your address.
Lee

The Fish are Crowned (3 times) and get Sporty
Now then Fish Fans.
Great gig on Saturday at the Sportmans Bar (Hedon Road, Hull). Great pub, atmosphere and crowd. Hope to see you all soon. Lee managed to sing a love song to Julie (wife of the drummer of Fine Young Cannibals). The Easter special at the Three Crowns (Anlaby Road, Hull) was a great laugh as well. Enthusiastic members of the audience expressed that Rattlefish are the BEST covers band in Hull boasting some of the finest musicians. It would be rude to disagree...
We have been really busy getting our new CD ready for production (Glamorous, Indie Rock & Rollmops). The CD will be availabe to buy at gigs, online via mail order and if you behave in an all together enthusiatic manner at a Fish gig you might find you get one given to you!
Keep an eye on the calendar for our schedule, May is a bit quiet due to a few cancellations. We play The Ferry Inn (Brough) in June which is always a good one.
If you miss the Fish don't forget that various members can be found on alternative Fridays down at The Ferry Inn (Brough) where our very own enigmatic lead singer Mike Fish hosts the jam session. Bring your voices and instruments and join in or just watch.

Did I Really Say That…?
Looks like Lee Fish is having a schizophrenic moment.
A rare chance coming up this weekend for fish fans to see stand in drummer John “Bananas” Connolly subbing for Sime Fish at the Highway.

Adam Bombed
Adam Bomb is unable to play the Highway so expect to see us there as usual on the Saturday (ignore any rumours involving Sunday!!!)
